Software Naukri

I awaited it desperately until I joined. With fire in the belly and beaming smile ,I started my corporate journey. My confidence doubled during training, I started thinking that I really had something in me that would put me in new heights.Only when I started my real job, hard facts of corporate life hit me hard.I fell flat on the ground, unable to even stand, forget about racing ahead.I started to hate my job, because I do something which is very idiotic in every sense to me except it earns money for my employer.I am underutilized and its killing me.

Software co's(desi- mind u they are not MNC's in any aspect except for their physical presence) paint a rosy picture with their revenues and employee strength. The fact is that 80% of what they do is "faaltu" , but since it earns revenues so they take up.The world class services they boast of are normal "jhaadu marna" stuff which other wise would cost more if they are done in the countries which outsource them. Though we have built our IT on these pillars we never made it to next level. The current crisis on world market makes it clear (at what cost ?).Why is it that only desi co's are hit by te crisis.Even other international especialy US co's are not suffering much because they have not concentrated only on "jhaadu marna" services but they have developed products which are worthy and indispensible for business and obviously its revenues doesnt drop down drastically like that of desi's. The funny part is that now they want to concentrate on non US markets(this is not a solution, its a temporary patch).Investment in R&D is just a joke, its only for promoting and attracting customers. And Clients ... aaaaah this is real entertainter, we do everything and anything client asks for just to retain client.Apart from searching for new clients and making tailor made stuff , develop potential, innovative ideas which will draw clients. Its high time "Desis" understand big picture and plan for long term and act accordingly in short term or accept the end.

well you think you are the only one that is suffering but the whole world is like that. when you are in college you think you could conquer the world by having the best job you can, or doing whatever your heart wishes. but then there is a reality check six months after you start the real job. either you are not challenged enough or you are being treated like shit or you are too stressed out with the amount of work you have to handle. but don't you think there should be a transition period that transforms you from an amateur to a more mature person in terms of personal and professional experience? this is the transition period for you and for so many young people in your shoes. the unfortunate thing is most of the young men and women who start their jobs don't often see beyond that point. i am not saying they are not ambitious but they settle in this comfort zone of making a certain amount of money and spending it and every month it repeats. so they just take whatever comes and suffer through. some have to do a job because of economic reasons or some unforeseen circumstances. but if you look at it closely it was not totally a waste. you have learned to be a better person, you learned your etiquette, you have earned your respect and self confidence, you have learned your time and money management, you gained some if not all corporate experience to take with you, and you are ready to rock and roll. the key is to look at things outside your comfort zone and take everything you gained with you to form your actual future, go behind your dreams, achieve what you always wanted to. whether it be a better job, further education, your own business, or simply finding yourself taking a break. but you need to take a first step without fear in your heart. unless you take a risk now you will be there where you are after you turn forty or fifty still dissatisfied with your performance, life, and world in general. in other words good feeling good for nothing forever and saying had a chance here, i could have done that, i could have, would have. could haves, would haves and the train leaves the station. then why moan and groan about corporations, or economy, or IT sector mishaps? look inside you once. they didn't reach there without people like you. and they were people like you and million other brilliant brains. you got to start somewhere if it works it works if it doesn't than you atleast tried.
